The Utah Jazz ended the preseason with a loss against the Sacramento Kings

The Jazz came close to defeating the hot-shooting Kings due to the 26 points from Talen Horton-Tucker and the 24 points from Collin Sexton, but it wasn't enough. The Jazz rested Jordan Clarkson, Lauri Markkanen, John Collins, and Kelly Olynyk for this game, so Horton-Tucker, who has been the subject of trade rumours this week, started with Collin Sexton once more. It's the starting lineup that the Jazz utilised to open the preseason, but it's doubtful that they'll stick with it when the regular season begins.

Resting those rotation players made room for new players to get playing time and was very beneficial. The first was that Taylor Hendricks was given more time on the clock. Given all the talk about Hendricks' lack of playing time, having a longer look was intriguing.
