Timberwolves beats Warriors, 119-99

An exhausted Golden State Warriors, were overpowered by Karl-Anthony Towns and Minnesota Timberwolves in the 119-99 triumph on Sunday night. Warriors did not have their star Steph Curry by their side and Wolves took advantage to register a win. Karl-Anthony Towns had 26 points and 11 rebounds, while Jaylen Nowell scored 17 points and Malik Beasley chipped in with 16 points for Wolves. In the last 16 minutes Wolves marked an end to their four-game trip with a 40-19 run. Warriors were playing without Draymond Green, and lost for the fifth time in seven games. Jordan Poole scored 20 points and Jonathan Kuminga joined with 19 points to help the team. Warriors recently ended their slump with their biggest triumph of the period, over Eastern Conference-driving Chicago but could not continue the momentum against Wolves.
