Timberwolves make it to playoffs as 7th seed

Anthony Edwards led Timberwolves through the play-in stage with team-high 30 points, D'Angelo Russell contributed 29 more as the Timberwolves wins 109-104 against the Clippers in Minneapolis. Wolves claim the 7th seed in the Western Conference and have set up a first-round matchup with Memphis now.

Clippers saw some action from Paul George who scored 34 points, Reggie Jackson with his 17 points and Norman Powell’s 16-point performance was not enough to lead Clippers to the next round. LA still has the chance to qualify when they take on New Orleans or San Antonio for the 8th seed. Towns were the only big disappointment from Wolves side with just 11 points and 3-for-11 shooting thankfully his off-night did not hurt the team as they move to the next round.
