Trae Young Leads Hawks Past Heat to Snap Three-Game Skid

Trae Young recorded 11 points and 14 assists as the Atlanta Hawks snapped their three-game losing streak with a 98-86 win over the Miami Heat on Tuesday night.

Onyeka Okongwu led the Hawks with 17 points and eight rebounds, while new additions Terrance Mann and Caris LaVert contributed 15 points each off the bench. Georges Niang added 11 points, as six Hawks finished in double figures. Atlanta's defense shined, holding Miami to just 32% shooting from the field and 18% from three-point range. It was the first time since 2021 that the Hawks kept an opponent under 90 points. “Everybody was ready to play, and everybody really contributed,” Young said postgame. Dyson Daniels had 10 points, 11 rebounds, and seven steals for Miami, just one short of his career high.
