Warriors beat the Hawks 134-112

The Warriors held a ceremony before the game, which was their first outing since assistant coach Dejan Milojevic passed away.  With two teams needing to win, it was sure to be an emotional basketball night.  Atlanta continued to start Dejounte Murray, Bogdan Bogdanovic, Saddiq Bey, Jalen Johnson, and Clint Capela as the starting five for the Hawks because Trae Young remained out.

The Warriors' starting lineup for this game included Kevon Looney, Andrew Wiggins, Dario Saric, Steph Curry, and Klay Thompson.  This game featured an intense back-and-forth between two sides that needed a victory in the first half. Because both the Hawks and the Warriors had weak defences, they scored about 70 points apiece in the first half. Both teams got out to a fast start, as the game was knotted 15–15 at the first break with 6:49 remaining. Curry and Saric each scored five points, while Murray and Johnson both scored five.
