NBA franchise values reached unprecedented levels in 2026, according to Sportico, with the league’s 30 teams carrying a combined value of roughly $199 billion and an average valuation of $6.64 billion per franchise.
The Golden State Warriors remain the NBA’s most valuable organization at $14.5 billion, ahead of the New York Knicks at $12.8 billion and the Los Angeles Lakers at $12.5 billion. Rounding out the top ten are the Los Angeles Clippers, Chicago Bulls, Miami Heat, Boston Celtics, Brooklyn Nets, Philadelphia 76ers and Houston Rockets.
Recent ownership transactions have supported the surge in valuations. The Lakers highlight the market’s explosive growth.
