During the 2024 NBA Draft, the Cleveland Cavaliers will soon have to make their first significant choice of the summer. The Cavaliers won't have to start playing until the No. 20 pick, but insiders have told ClutchPoints that Cleveland is considering trying to move up for a better choice. However, that does not imply that Cleveland is targeting Zaccharie Risacher or Alexandre Sarr, who are thought to be the top two choices in this year's draft class. The Cavs don't want to take on a developmental project that is expected to play right away, nor do they have the resources to go that high.
The age of the prospects on the Cavs' big board will have to be taken into account if they advance in the 2024 NBA Draft. Sharpshooter Dalton Knecht, a senior forward from Tennessee, is ready for the NBA, while Tristan da Silva, a senior forward from Colorado, and rookie swingman Cody Williams represent Colorado.
