Wiggins despite injury will be in the lineup

In a crucial Game 6 against the Los Angeles Lakers on Friday night, the Golden State Warriors may not have small forward Andrew Wiggins at full strength, but he will still participate. He will participate, according to a report by Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports. In Game 5 of the Western Conference Semifinals on Wednesday, Wiggins fractured his left costal cartilage and has been trying to avoid surgery.

If Wiggins is severely restricted, the Warriors will obviously need to rely on some additional tactics to shut down Lakers great LeBron James. The ailment that Wiggins is battling with is similar to the one Kevon Looney had in the 2019 postseason. Looney, on the other hand, played a far smaller part. He emphasised that if he had been required to shoot as frequently as Wiggins, he doubts he would have been able to continue playing despite the injury.
