Wizards extend Pistons misery as they drop eighth straight match

Detroit Pistons did not hesitate in allowing Marvin Bagley III some playing time after joining the team at the trade deadline. Bagley’s debut for the team was overshadowed by a loss to Washington Wizards, the player did score 10 points for the team. Pistons could now pull off a win in the last quarter before falling to Wizards at Capital One Arena, with a 103-94 scoreline.

Pistons’ record worsens with 12-45 as their losing streak extends to eight straight matches and make it the 12th loss of their last 13 games. In the 21 minutes of playing time, Bagley scored 10 points and eight rebounds while Saddiq Bey led Detroit with 24 points, five rebounds and five assists. Washington improved their lead to 87-78 at the end of the third quarter and ballooned their lead to 99-88 with 2:32 remaining and then pushed ahead to win by 103-94.
