Keshav Maharaj and George Linde Kept Proteas alive after 3rd day of the Test against Pakistan by sharing five wickets. The start by South Africa in the morning was 106 for four but the captain was lost within the first 15 deliveries just after he tried to play the loose drive off Shaheen Shah Afridi. Linde helped Bavuma to get a total of more than 200. Proteas’ start put the home under pressure and the heat was felt by Imran Butt before the wicket was taken by Kagiso Rabada.
The bowling continued to be intense and Abid Ali went next with the score. Linde’s double strike of Azhar Ali and Fawad Alam threatened a turn in the match post the home side’s score to 76 for five. At last, Linde ended on the stroke of stumps.
