00NATION claims the Pinnacle Cup V title

In the championship match, 00NATION defeated FURIA 2-0 to win the Pinnacle Cup V. The European team began their voyage with a 0-2 record in the Swiss stage before moving up the ladder and winning the championship. After losing its first three games, Thomas "birdfromsky" Due-Frederiksen's team only received organizational support on August 15 when 00NATION formally signed the team. The squad then went on to overcome Sampi and 9 Pandas to advance to the elimination round with a record of 3-2. They took on ECSTATIC, Bad News Eagles, and went on to top the scoreboard and set up a semi-final with Astralis. Against Benjamin "blameF" Bremer and company,  00NATION survived after a narrow win to move to the final match.

The international mix's match vs. Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo and company was interesting to say the least. Nicholas "guerri" Nogueira replaced FURIA’s star rifler but still, the team could not keep 00NATION at bay as they pushed their way to a 2-0 win at Nuke (13-16), and Ancient (12-16).
