FaZe Dominates 3DMAX to Advance at IEM Melbourne

FaZe crushed 3DMAX 2-0 in the Group A lower bracket semi-final at IEM Melbourne, eliminating the French team with a dominant 13-1 win on Dust2 and 13-7 on Nuke. This marks the second straight one-sided series between the two teams, following FaZe's 13-0 and 13-5 victories in the PGL Bucharest quarter-finals. With the win, FaZe advance to face the winner of Complexity vs. GamerLegion, with a potential match-up against Complexity offering a rematch for Jonathan "EliGE" Jablonowski against his former team. FaZe's karrigan led by example, nearly topping the series with a 1.55 rating. The team’s impenetrable defense, especially on Dust2, overwhelmed 3DMAX, who struggled throughout. FaZe’s trio of karrigan, Håvard "rain" Nygaard, and EliGE dominated, leading the charge to secure a dominant victory.

3DMAX got no breathing room on Nuke, either, managing no consecutive round wins in the first half as FaZe drummed up an 8-4 lead.
