9INE has qualified for Gamers8

After winning the second European open qualification, 9INE has qualified for Gamers8, a $1 million event that will take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, from August 16–20. Following Wiktor "mynio" Kruk and team's victory, fnatic, whose previous William "mezii" Merriman-led roster won the first European open qualifier to earn their place, and Vitality, the top two teams in the world right now, round out the team list for the Saudi competition.

9INE had a rather difficult road to the $1 million tournament, picking up tenacious victories against Kristjan "fejtZ" Allsaar's sYnck and the revamped Spirit on day one of the qualifier before barely beating Aurora and 1WIN on day two to set up a game against SAW that would decide their fate. Once there, the qualifying continued to be fiercely contested. 9INE originally took the lead with a victory on Ancient (16-10) before SAW responded in kind on Vertigo (16-8).
