Apeks defeated Liquid to secure semi-final berth

Apeks defeated Liquid in a two-map series to go to the BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023 semifinals. They defeated Overpass (16-12) with ease after winning their first choice, Ancient (16-10), and Tim 'nawwk' Jonasson contributed two important clutches to advance his team to the Major semifinals. This marks the conclusion of a Major for Liquid that was extremely hot and chilly. They overcame a 0-2 deficit in the Challengers Stage and recovered their form at the very last minute to eventually clinch a playoff spot, but they were unable to overcome an underdog in Apeks in the Accor Arena.
