BIG makes their direct spot into the semi-finals

BIG secured victory against FURIA to claim a direct spot in the semi-finals of IEM Dallas as Group B's first placers. The German squad overcame Andrei "⁠arT⁠" Piovezan's side in three maps, winning Nuke 16-8 then dropping Vertigo 10-16, and finally taking Mirage, 16-10. While in the other match, Cloud9 grabbed the final playoff spot in Group B defeating Liquid at the IEM Dallas in two maps. 

After the results, we have witnessed that there will be no North American teams participating in the main stage of the event, as Complexity is also out of the competition without securing a single win, falling to MIBR and then NIP in the lower bracket.
