BIG secured the CCT North Europe Series 7 title

BIG won the CCT North Europe Series 7 championship after defeating Monte 2-0 in the competition's championship match. BIG easily won their Vertigo selection (16-8) before successfully crossing the finish line on Anubis (16-11) to take home the $22,000 top prize. After some shaky early results, the victory will help BIG gain some confidence going into ESL Pro League Season 18. This win, in particular, will be crucial in Malta since they will also be playing Monte in their initial match.

BIG and Monte were both invited directly to the Round of 16 without having to compete in the tournament's group round. The team of Johannes "tabseN" Wodarz narrowly won their first two series against Endpoint and SAW, needing all three maps to win, and only succeeding on the series' deciding games in overtime. However, their semi-final matchup with Los Kogutos was far more straightforward thanks to victories on Ancient and Mirage that advanced them to the championship game.
