Cloud9 has secured a berth in Pro League Season 17’s final four

The Group A champions performed admirably in their first Pro League game in over a month to defeat MOUZ 2-1 and advance to the semifinals. The Russians were defeated by David "frozen" Čerňanský and company at the Jeunesse Arena during their previous meeting between the two teams at the IEM Rio Major, but Cloud9 ended their rivals' playoff run in Malta this time.

After losing the second round forcebuy and falling down 1-3, Sergey "Ax1Le" Rykhtorov destroyed MOUZ early on Inferno, the European Combine's choice. This helped his team square the game at three and go on to win 6-3. At the ten-round point, frozen responded with a quad kill to bring the score to 4-6, but his side was still behind 6-9 at the break. By winning the first three CT rounds, MOUZ was able to even the score at 9-9 even though they only had one successful assault.
