Cloud9 separates from Interz

With the announcement of Timofey "interz" Yakushin's resignation, Cloud9 has lost all of the players that participated in their most recent tournament appearance, the Perfect World Shanghai Major. Interz was benched in 2023 due to issues with his individual level, however, he was a member of the previous Gambit lineup that Cloud9 hired early in 2022. The 24-year-old made a second appearance at Cloud9 in July 2024, participating in the rebuild with Kaisar "ICY" Faiznurov and Nikita "HeavyGod" Martynenko. 

This version of the lineup didn't do much in the latter part of 2024, failing to advance for the qualifying for major LAN events. Nevertheless, they advanced to Perfect World Shanghai Major, where they lost in the Opening Stage after winning just one map. The roster has been dismantled following their early Major exit, with Kirill "Boombl4" Mikhailov and Sergey "Ax1Le" Rykhtorov joining BetBoom, HeavyGod joining G2, and ICY joining Virtus.pro
