CLOUD9 wins the Brazy Party over Astralis

In the Brazy Party championship event, Cloud9 defeated Astralis in a three-map series for a $133,000 payout. After losing the first game on Overpass (5-16), they rebounded with victories on Vertigo (16-7) and Inferno (16-12), which put an end to the match and the competition. Cloud9 will attempt to use their victory as a means of recovering some much-needed confidence and consistency after not qualifying for the upcoming BLAST.tv Paris Major after a miserable performance in the RMR qualifier in April. 

The next competition for the Vladislav "nafany" Gorshkov-led team will take place in the United States at IEM Dallas, which is scheduled to take place from May 29 to June 4. The Russian-Kazakh team will attempt to win back-to-back championships in Texas after achieving so at the tournament's 2022 iteration.
