Complexity pulled out of IEM Katowice

Complexity was supposed to compete in the play-in stage of the first LAN event of the year, IEM Katowice. The North American team missed out on the $1,000,000 event when the entire team tested positive for COVID after their travel to Poland was stalled. The organizers have given the last seat of the tournament to Movistar Riders who were next as per ESL Pro Tour ranking.

Other than the entire team, two players have tested positive so far FaZe’s Robin "ropz" Kool for FaZe and MOUZ’s Aurimas "Bymas" Pipiras. The two teams have announced stand-ins for the player. Movistar Riders would take on BIG first and later face either Astralis or MIBR. In the Main Event, Natus Vincere, G2, Heroic, FURIA, Vitality, Gambit, Virtus.pro, would await the winners of the Playin stage.
