ECSTATIC defeated BIG 2-0 in the closed qualification final to earn a seat at the ESL Challenger Katowice 2023. GODSENT, HOTU, and Movistar Riders were all defeated by Marcus "maNkz" Kjeldsen and crew in order to qualify for the summer competition. Between June 9 and 11, eight teams will compete in Katowice, Poland, with groups like ENCE, Virtus.pro, and FORZE for a shot at the 18th season of the ESL Pro League and a $100,000 prize pool.
Monte and GamerLegion were replaced on the closed stage by ECSTATIC and GODSENT, who resumed their unexpected tour at the Paris Major. They rode the top bracket all the way to the championship game against BIG, who had to bounce back from a round one loss to HOTU. On the path to the final, BIG beat Movistar Riders, DomiNation, Ninjas in Pyjamas, and GODSENT, but struggled against the Danes.
