ECSTATIC is through to the next tournament: ESL Challenger Melbourne

ECSTATIC are the next confirmed team to compete at ESL Challenger Melbourne after winning the European closed qualifier for the $100,000 prize pool. In the double-elimination tournament, the Danes defeated Sprout and Aurora without dropping a map before falling to HONORIS in the upper bracket final the first time the two teams faced. ECSTATIC then defeated FORZE in the consolidation final to secure a rematch with Wiktor "TaZ" Wojtas' team, in which they avenged their earlier loss at Ancient by coming back from 10-13 down in the deciding Game on Vertigo. ECSTATIC now marks their calendar for a visit to Melbourne in late April. The Danes will compete alongside seven other teams in Melbourne from April 28 to 30.

Complexity, IHC, Bad News Eagles, and Grayhound were invited based on their ESL World Ranking positions, while Rare Atom was the first Asian qualifier. The last two competitors will be determined later this month by the North American and Oceanian qualifiers.
