The third European Development Championship would start from 7th April and would on till 2nd May with 16 teams competing for the title this time and the prize of $30,000 up for grabs. The tournament would have four teams divided into four groups and play out in GSL format with best of one in the starting phase of the tournament and best-of-three series later on.
The Top two teams of the group would then advance ahead to the playoffs stage and it would be played out in a single-elimination best-of-three bracket till the Grand finale. Sprout would be defending the title this year and have already received the invite, other teams include Endpoint, Winstrike, Anonymo, Young Ninjas, TPT, Budapest Five, Trident, 100PG, and Sangal, while with the final two teams that would complete the full roster are yet to be announced.
