Evil Genuises exits the BLAST event in last place

Peter "⁠stanislaw⁠" Jarguz's team was showing promise at IEM Summer but their woes still continue after the BLAST Exit. NIP took down Even Genuises in the BLAST Premier Spring Final lower bracket with a 2-0 win over EG in Overpass 16-11, and Dust2 16-12. NIP would now wait to meet the loser of the upper bracket semi-final match between BIG and Natus Vincere.

Nicolai "⁠device⁠" Reedtz & co stay alive in the tournament handing Evil Geniuses an early elimination and a last-place finish. EG were getting back in action with a playoff finish at IEM Summer but their underwhelming performance continues. EG would now be seen in action in the last event of the season IEM Cologne and its play-in stage starts on 6th July.
