Evil Ginuses and Tarik Part ways

Evil Geniuses have officially announced that Tarik "tarik" Celik will no longer be part of the team as the team ends their two-year-old partnership. The 25-year-old player became a part of EG’s lineup in 2019 coming from the former NRG lineup he even helped the team with five titles then put an end to his pro career by stepping down as a player in  April of 2021. Even with Tarik on board, the team’s performance was suboptimal, they struggled in the tournaments and later on dropped down the ranking as well.

After his departure, he focused on content creation for the past eight months with the team but the team still did not improve their performance hence the organization has now signed former G2’s Damien "maLeK" Marcel as the new head coach who might infuse new energy in the team.
