Fnatic comes back to its first Major since IEM Katowice 2019. Fnatic effortlessly sent off a 1WIN in a two-map series, triumphing in the Overpass (16-5) and Ancient (16-9) to go 3-2 in the Europe RMR A tournament and ensure their place at the IEM Rio Major Challengers Stage. Egor "flamie" Vasilyev & co. have been kicked out of the tournament with a 2-3 record after they were not able to capitalize on either of their two opportunities to qualify for the Major with defeats to Cloud9 and the European mix around William "mezii" Merriman.
Fnatic found themselves in a tight spot after they followed up their opening-day win against Aurora with defeats against FaZe and B8. After they shifted from the best-of-one format, they put on a different outlook together, effortlessly defeating Eternal Fire and 1WIN to return to the Major stage.
