FURIA sends NIP to Malta’s Last Chance stage

After defeating Ninjas in Pyjamas, FURIA advanced to the lower-bracket final of the ESL Pro League S18. The Brazilian team accomplished so in a two-map battle, defeating the team on Mirage (16-12) and Nuke (16-12) to go one step closer to the playoffs. Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo and the company will now play Astralis in the lower-bracket final, while Ninjas in Pyjamas will face GamerLegion in the Last Change Stage.

With each game in the Malta competition, FURIA has improved. In their first game, they were defeated 0-2 by Movistar Riders before beating Grayhound 2-0. Ninjas in Pyjamas was a more difficult challenge than the Australians, but despite KSCERATO's anonymous play, the Brazilians cruised through the series. With 29 kills, Andrei "arT" Piovezan picked up the slack on Mirage, while Yuri "yuurih" Santos and FalleN led the way on Nuke.
