G2 defeated Astralis while BIG claim playoff berth

In the final set of matches on day 2 of IEM Dallas, BIG overcame MIBR in Group B's upper bracket semi-final, defeating them 2-0. BIG will now take on FURIA in the upper bracket final to determine which of the two teams will obtain a direct semi-final berth in the playoffs, and which will start their run in the quarter-final.

While on the other hand, G2 has been able to keep their position secured in Dallas after denying Astralis the reverse-sweep in their group's lower bracket semi-final series. With this, Lukas "⁠gla1ve⁠" Rossander's squad was seen packing after three maps.  Now, they will have to face Vitality in the lower bracket final for the third and final playoff spot on offer in Group A.
