Groups drawn for CS_Summit 8

CS_summit 8, the Regional Major Ranking (RMR) event for North America has revealed the groups and the matchups for the event that will give leaderboard points towards qualifying for the PGL Stockholm Major. The direct invitees Evil Geniuses, FURIA, Liquid, and EXTREMUM have been waiting in the main event and for the conclusion of open qualifiers and closed qualifiers. 

The eight teams now have been divided into two, best-of-three GSL groups, where the opening match would have FURIA against O PLANO and EXTREMUM has been drawn up against Extra Salt, who enjoyed a flawless run in cs_summit closed qualifier. In Group B Evil Geniuses would take on paiN and Liquid would take on Bad News Bears in the second opening match. Now the top two teams of each group will play in the upper bracket of the playoffs.
