HAVU have decided to keep Olli "sLowi" Pitkänen on a permanent basis

Olli "sLowi" Pitkänen will remain with HAVU permanently, the organisation declared on Twitter. The news was released less than a week after the 27-year-old filled in for Jani "Aerial" Jussila, who opted to take a hiatus from competition due to years of sleeping problems. sLowi previously played over 1000 maps on HLTV while serving in a variety of positions with HAVU for four years, from 2018 to 2022. In the summer of 2022, when the squad reorganised around Sami "xseveN" Laasanen and Aerial, he was benched and ultimately discharged.

With teammates like Slaava "Twista" Räsänen and Lasse "ZOREE" Uronen, sLowi spent the previous year battling for Aleksi "allu" Jalli's JANO project, averaging a 1.04 rating and placing second to the seasoned AWPer in performance. As they take on the European tier-two circuit, he now rejoins a team that he is well familiar with.
