Heroic enjoyed a hot start, qualified for Blast Paris Major

In the Valve-sponsored event in France, Heroic is the first team from the BLAST.tv Paris Major Europe RMR B competition to qualify for the Legends Stage. The Danes finished their stay in Copenhagen with a perfect 3-0 record, starting their Major-qualifying run with wins against 500 (16-8) and Aurora (16-14), before moving on to their final matchup against Monte. In the 2-0 encounter, Heroic got out to a fast start against the Ukrainians, jumping out to a 12-3 lead at the conclusion of their CT-side effort. Jakob "jabbi" Nygaard did the most of the work with a 1.71-rated performance on defence.

However, Monte refused to give up and, thanks to an outstanding CT-side performance of their own, brought the score within three points, 12-15. The Danes won the game in regulation, 16-12, to take the lead in the series, but ultimately the comeback lacked the impetus to go the distance.
