IEM Beijing-Haidian: FURIA decides to pull out.

The Brazilian Squad will be skipping this year's ESL event as they wish to stay in Europe and they will be replaced by New England Whalers who are ranked 27 in the world. IEM Beijing-Haidian 2020 will feature New England Whalers instead of FURIA, the reason cited for pulling out of the contest is stated to be coronavirus restrictions. The online tournament will start from November 6-22. FURIA’s decision to pull out makes way for New England Whalers, who has been phenomenal recently in IEM New York by finishing sixth and proudly display a clean record of 13-0 in ESEA MDL Season 35. Another North American team who will be a part of the tournament is EG who is taking part in BLAST currently and will return hope to compete in IEM Beijing-Haidian.
