Imperial beats Complexity to qualify for BLAST Premier semi finals 

At the BLAST Premier Spring Final, Complexity and Imperial squared off against one another for the fourth time this year. However, this time the North American team played with their South African stand-in Aran "Sonic" Groesbeek in place of star AWPer Hkon "hallzerk" Fjaerli.

The Brazilians had a 2-1 advantage going into the match, although Johnny "JT" Theodosiou's team had won the previous meeting between the two teams at the Americas RMR after two close maps. This time, Imperial, who had previously displayed glimpses of brilliance in Washington, D.C. by defeating Vitality 2-0 and pushing G2 to the limit over the course of three maps, prevailed with a similar score. In front of the North American audience, Imperial will now enter the arena where they will compete against Heroic, the top seed in Group B, for a chance to advance to the title match on Sunday.
