Jerric "⁠wiz⁠" Jiang, will join Evil Geniuses

The announcement follows Tsvetelin "CeRq" Dimitrov's three-year departure from the organization. Evil Geniuses restructured their team in the middle of last year following a run of consistently poor performances that began towards the end of 2021. The team's performance improved as a result of the adjustments, as seen by the fact that they avoided coming joint-last in the ESL Pro League for the first time in several attempts, but they were unable to make much progress at the IEM Rio Major or advance past the BLAST Premier Fall Showdown.

Their recently promoted player wiz, who had made a reputation for himself in the North American scene while playing for RBG and temporarily for Carpe Diem, spent the second part of 2022 playing for EG Black. The youthful AWPer has shown excellent performance while playing for EG Black, recording a respectable 1.14 rating and a stunning +286 kill differential.
