Kory "SEMPHIS" Friesen makes a comeback as coach

Kory "SEMPHIS" Friesen returns to CSGO but in a different role than the last time, the former in-game leader would be serving as the head coach for Gaimin Gladiators. The organization relies on his experience even after the one-year hiatus from the game. SEMPHIS was last seen in action at ESEA Premier where he took part in the competition with SKDC in May 2021. The 32-year-old has a rich experience under his belt and has even played for the big teams like Complexity, Cloud9, and TSM early in his career.

The most notable achievement for SEMPHIS is the top-four finish at the first CS:GO Major, DreamHack Winter 2013 and he even helped the team with a playoff appearance at EMS One Katowice 2014. Over the years he has played with Russel "Twistzz" Van Dulken and Hunter "SicK" Mims. Now he would guide Gaimin Gladiators which features David "cynic" Polster, along with ex ChocoCheck trio Carson "nosraC" O'Reilly, Jeorge "jeorgesnorts" Endicott, and Dominick "JazzPimp" Dimpfel. The team would be seen in action at ESL Challenger League Season 40.
