After defeating G2 in their first official appearance, the revamped Liquid roster—which endured the contentious acquisitions of Rainwaker and Patsi over the summer break—now has a second top-five victory. The two fresh players contributed greatly to Liquid's victory after they overcame their first Inferno defeat. Patsi in particular put up two outstanding defensive efforts on Mirage and Ancient to help the team overcome the series deficit in a game that included several impressive CT side exploits.
In their second series together, the now-longest-serving Liquid side player, who has a 1.23 rating overall, once again led the squad. One of the factors in Liquid's comeback was his aggressive flanks on Mirage and general excellent play on the CT side there as well as on Ancient.
