Liquid was beaten by Eternal Fire in a two-map series

In a two-map series, Eternal Fire has beaten Liquid, winning Vertigo (16-13) and Inferno (16-11). Ozgür "woxic" Eker dominated the game, recording 34 kills on Vertigo and 31 kills on Inferno with an average rating of 1.78. With a 2-0 victory and a match against Movistar Riders on the penultimate day of competition, Eternal Fire keeps its hopes of making the ESL Pro League playoffs alive. 

On the other hand, Liquid still has a chance to make the playoffs despite blowing an early opportunity to ensure a berth among the top three. On Sunday, the North Americans will play Cloud9 in an effort to pick up a third victory and maintain themselves in the playoff picture. Eternal Fire won the force-buy battles to start the second half and quickly jumped out to a 13-9 lead.
