Liquid would take on Virtus.Pro in quarterfinals of Blast showdown

Team Liquid and Vitus.Pro are through to the next stage of BLAST Premier Fall Showdown after they took down the tournament underdogs Movistar Riders and 9z in the round of 16. Both the teams are set to face each other now. Movistar Riders headed to the match against Virtus.pro with a ticket to PGL Major Stockholm in the bank after they finished fifth at IEM Fall.

Alejandro "alex" Masanet and Alejandro "mopoz" Fernández-Quejo Cano gave their best in the match up but Mareks "YEKINDAR" Gaļinskis and co came out on top with a comfortable win. Liquid also had an easy win facing an inexperienced Bruno "BIT" Fukuda Lima and co. But Jake "Stewie2K" Yip’s side sailed through with an easy win on Nuke and Inferno to meet Virtus.pro.
