Lukas "⁠gla1ve⁠" Rossander's time with Astralis is coming to an end

Astralis will announce the benching of gla1ve and the addition of Victor "Staehr" Staehr from Sprout, two changes to the CS:GO lineup. Prior to the start of 2024, when Staehr's contract with the German organisation expires, an agreement was made for Astralis to sign him. However, after months of futile attempts to get the 18-year-old out early, the Danish side has reportedly made progress in discussions over the transfer money.

According to one report, Astralis will attempt to promote gla1ve. Due to Astralis' recent troubles and gla1ve's subpar performance as a player, several have advocated for his benching, which will result in leadership transitioning to Benjamin "blameF" Bremer. On one map, Mirage, blameF has already taken the lead and has greater expertise in the position because to his stint with Complexity.
