MIBR benches Henrique

Henrique "HEN1" Teles has been benched by MIBR, the Brazilian AWPer disclosed the news on Tuesday. He said in his announcement that he was astonished by the decision but he is looking to the future and anticipates that his success on MIBR will attract the attention of other organizations. The 27-year-old PGL Major Krakow finalist averaged a 1.21 rating over 240 maps during his time under the MIBR banner, but he was unable to maintain that standard offline against international competition, and his performance fell to a pitiful 1.04 rating over 46 maps.

With HEN1, the team had some success in online contests. However, the team's early exits from all of their offline tournament appearances and lack of success abroad paved the way for a number of off-season changes in an effort to reverse that trend. The organization also announced the benching of Matheus "Turtle" Anhaia last month.
