MIBR would be without Marcelo "chelo" Cespedes for the BLAST Premier Spring Groups 2022 tournament. The standing member would not travel with the squad after testing positive for COVID-19. MIBR Academy player Breno "brnz4n" Poletto would be serving as a stand-in for the team, and has even played for MIBR for multiple events in 2021 after Ricardo "boltz" Prass had tested positive for COVID-19 last year.
Last season MIBR ran into a lot of issues with their roster with brnz4n and Renato "nak" Nakano being called in as a stand-in for the BLAST Fall tournament as well. Now for the Blast Spring 2022, MIBR would once again not have their entire roster with them while they compete with Natus Vincere, OG, and Astralis in Group B.
