Monte eliminated Heroic in a 2-1 set

Monte eliminated Heroic in a 2-1 set (16-10 Mirage, 20-22 Overpass, 16-10 Ancient) to maintain their position in the Last Chance Stage of Group B at the ESL Pro League. Since signing Jakob "jabbi" Nygaard in June 2022, Casper "cadiaN" Møller's team has experienced just two group stage eliminations total. Their previous early departure was at IEM Cologne 2022, immediately following the inclusion of the Dane (and excluding the BLAST World Final, when Heroic had to substitute a player).

Despite taking the lead at the beginning of Mirage on the map, Heroic's lack of unity was immediately noticeable. However, a Monte comeback failed due to an 8-3 scoreline, and the CT team, which was dominated by Ukrainians, put up a strong fight and won 16-10 with just one round of opposition.
