Following a three-map victory over FaZe in the 2-2 pool of the RMR A event, MOUZ secured their spot at the BLAST.tv Paris Major, which is set for May 8–21. MOUZ finished with a 3-2 record to qualify for the most recent CS:GO Major. After an unexpected loss to B8 and a victory against SAW, they finished the opening day of competition with a record of 1-1.
From there, the team was defeated by Falcons, which included Nathan "NBK-" Schmidt, a former colleague of MOUZ's, but a victory against Virtus.pro brought the European combo back on track and left them needing only one victory over FaZe to secure a berth at the Major. After the Major-qualifying series started on Nuke, MOUZ was by much the superior team.
