In a three-map series against Complexity, MOUZ overcame them by winning Overpass (16-11) and Inferno (16-7) on each side of a setback on Ancient (16-12). David "frozen" Cernansky who now ranks second in the ESL Pro League Season 16 with a rating of 1.29, recorded 72 kills in a tremendous series. The last playoff position will be determined on Sunday, with Complexity, Astralis, and ENCE all still having a chance to progress. Two playoff berths from the group are now secured.
The North Americans started the series on the terrorist side of Complexity's recommended Overpass. Due to their poor start, MOUZ was able to quickly build a 6-0 lead before Michael "Grim" Wince and Justin "FaNg" Coakley successfully won a 2v4 match on the B site. Beginning the second half with a score tie and a strong start, Complexity maintained their winning streak.
