Natus Vincere edged past Cloud 9 in three maps

Natus Vincere kicked off their ESL Pro League campaign with a win over Cloud9 in a three-map match with the help from Aleksandr "⁠s1mple⁠" Kostyliev who led the CIS Giants to a win. Cloud9 had almost pulled off a 2-0 win until the Ukrainian prodigy dished out a great performance to lead the team to a win. Cloud9 would be kicking themselves as they led the match go from their hands but have another CIS clash to look forward to when they face Gambit on Saturday.

s1mple had a 17-4 score on Overpass with a 130 ADR and with some great effort by teammates they took an early lead but Patrick "⁠es3tag⁠" Hansen and Erick "⁠Xeppaa⁠" Bach with a 2v4 clutch helped C9 to a win on Dust2 but NAVI walked away with a win in the end on the last map.
