NAVI goes through to the Lower Bracket Final

After defeating Rare Atom, Natus Vincere advanced over the Chinese team to the lower bracket final in their last chance to clinch the ESL Pro League Season 17 title.  NAVI, despite their lacklustre performance thus far in the competition, managed to upset the underdogs 2-1 by rebounding from an overtime loss to Inferno (19-17) with victories against Nuke (16-4) and Overpass (16-7). The Ukrainian team needs one more win to qualify for the playoffs now. For the playoff seat, Spirit and Natus Vincere will now square off on Saturday at 20:30. The winner advances directly to the first round of the playoffs, while the loser is given one more shot in the game to determine who finishes in fourth place.

In the meanwhile, Rare Atom will now play Liquid in the last-chance bracket after suffering a defeat. Rare Atom thoroughly destroyed the North Americans when the teams first faced off in the competition.
