Ninjas in Pyjamas survived their first match with a victory over BIG

The European team barely defeated the Germans on the Mirage (16-14) map before defeating them 2-0 on Inferno (16-11) behind a strong showing from REZ. With a ticket at the Spring Final on the line, Aleksi "Aleksib" Virolainen's team will now take against Natus Vincere on Wednesday at 19:30 for the final spot in their group final. In their initial encounter, the CIS team eliminated Ninjas in Pyjamas, and now the Europeans have the chance to exact vengeance on Oleksandr "s1mple" Kostyliev and friends.

BIG was eliminated from the upper bracket after a 0-2 loss to G2, but their most recent setback does not rule them out of contention just yet. With two best-of-three victories in the gauntlet round, the Germans may still qualify for the Spring Final; however, any further losses will send them directly to the Showdown.
