NiP's Tim Jonasson takes some time off till October.

Tim Jonasson Aka nawwk is reportedly taking some time off to de-stress, but would join NiP in DreamHack Open Fall, the next Regional Major Ranking event in Europe. which is scheduled to start from October 15,

The Swedes are one of the teams who were directly invited to be part of the tournament. Coach Björn Pers will now be a part of the lineup as NiP faces off FaZe and Fnatic in the group stage of the ongoing ESL Pro League Season 12. COO Jonas Gundersen shared they acted preemptively with Nawwk so that situation doesn’t worsen and he is ready to join the squad in DreamHack.

NiP has been struggling in the current event as it is, they are unlikely to qualify for the playoffs of ESL Pro League Season, they cannot hope to recover from a 1-4 record with just two matches remaining to play in Group B.

As the top tier events are being scheduled rigorously, we have witnessed many burnout cases in the last few months like Olof "⁠olofmeister⁠" Kajbjer, Lukas "⁠gla1ve⁠" Rossander, and Andreas "⁠Xyp9x⁠" Højsleth.
