Nouns defeated TeamOne 2-0

Nouns became the first team to qualify for the competition after they defeated TeamOne 2-0 in the North American closed qualifier for IEM Dallas. On the occasion, which is scheduled to take place from May 29 to June 4, they join invited performers like G2 and Heroic. The team led by Kory "SEMPHIS" Friesen was invited to the closed qualifier, where they competed against Vendetta and TeamOne twice before winning all three of their series to secure a seat in Dallas. Although Carson "nosraC" O'Reilly was the main player in the crucial qualifying series versus TeamOne, Edgar "⁠MarKE⁠" Maldonado did much of the grunt work for Nouns.

Nouns have performed admirably so far in 2023, taking first place in online tournaments like the ESEA Cash Cups and CCT North America Series 3 and earning a spot in the BLAST.tv Paris Major NA RMR.
