OG have announced that they will not be fielding star AWPer degster

Because the Russian sniper fell unwell earlier in the week and has not yet recovered, OG has stated that they will not feature star AWPer degster in their BLAST Showdown match against Ninjas in Pyjamas at 20:00. Owen "smooya" Butterfield, a former marksman for BIG, Movistar Riders, fnatic, and Into the Breach, will be manning the big green in his place.

Since the summer of 2022, the Englishman has been without a squad, but he has assembled mixed teams for Major open qualifiers, including as the one for the IEM Rio Event, which he and his Benched Heroes qualified for but ultimately were unable to attend owing to visa complications. The latest Group C encounter between the two struggling teams in the Last Chance group stage bracket will be replayed in the BLAST Showdown series.
